Domestic Violence Services in York County

PFA Specialists assist individuals seeking a Protection From Abuse (PFA), Protection From Intimidation (PFI), or Sexual Violence Protection (SVP).

While assistance is provided, specialists do not provide legal advice. Services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ex parte hearings are held at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. It is best to come in as early as possible. If your paperwork cannot be processed and time stamped at the Prothonotary’s Office in time for the 3:00 p.m. time slot and you are in PRESENT AND IMMEDIATE DANGER, you will be instructed to file for an Emergency Protection Order (EPFA). Emergency PFA’s are done through the District Magistrate Judge on duty which is located at the Central Processing Center 3400 Concord Road, Suite 102, York, PA 17402.
