Philadelphia Traffic Court

Philadelphia Traffic Court is a summary court of limited jurisdiction trained by the Commonwealth specifically to preside over and adjudicate citations issued within the City of Philadelphia. The Traffic Court is responsible for the collection of fines resulting from the issuance of citations by the Philadelphia Police Department and other various law enforcement agencies. It will schedule hearings for these citations and will adjudicate cases involving citations.
