Services Provided:

Pennsylvania Health Law Project (PHLP) is a statewide, nonprofit, public interest law firm providing free legal services to low-income persons, victims of crime, seniors, and persons with disabilities having trouble accessing public healthcare such as Medicaid (called Medical Assistance in Pennsylvania) coverage and/or services.

The PHLP VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) program, which is a little over a year old, provides services specifically to victims/survivors of crime and their family members affected by the victimization. We are able to help them navigate the Medicaid process.
