Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT)

Information

P-EBT is designed to help eligible families with the cost of breakfast and lunch their children would have received at their schools or child care settings free or at a reduced, cost through the National School Lunch Program, but due to the COVID-19 have closed. Families can use their P-EBT benefits to purchase almost any food item in a typical grocery store, and the program follows the same rules as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Department of Health and Human Services is working to re-send about 35,000 P-EBT cards in areas that have indicated were not received. They have created a hotline for those that have not received their P-EBT Card by November 2021 You can read the press release with more information
