MidPenn Legal Services Presents on Rural Tax Advocacy/Disability for Survivors of Domestic Violence - Blair County

MidPenn Legal Services logoMidPenn Legal Services Attorneys Evangeline Wright and Margaret O'Leary will be presenting at the January Blair County Health and Welfare Council meeting on January 24, 2020 from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM. The meeting will be held at The Arc of Blair County, 431 Jackson Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.

Attorney Wright will speak about the services available through MidPenn's Rural Tax Advocacy Project and common issues that low-income and ESL individuals may encounter in filing personal tax returns.

Attorney O'Leary will speak about MidPenn's SERV'D project which assists survivors of domestic violence and other crimes in issues related to Social Security disability benefits.
