LIHEAP Crisis Cooling Pilot Program opened for the summer

The LIHEAP Crisis Cooling Pilot Program is open! To be eligible for the program, Pennsylvanians must have received assistance from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) or the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) during the last 12 months. Weatherization providers will supply eligible participants with free cooling equipment installation or repair – including Energy Star window air conditioner units, fans, or even repair or replace heat pumps or central air conditioning system. Applicants must show proof of the letter confirming receipt of LIHEAP or WAP to their local Weatherization agency. Find the contact information for the Weatherization agency that serves your county(s) online here: https://dced.pa.gov/housing-and-development/weatherization/agency-list/
