Know Your Rights in Courts Series to be Held in Philadelphia
Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, in partnership with the Social Science & History Department of the Parkway Central Library of Philadelphia is presenting a three-part series on Know Your Rights in Court.
the workshops will be held in the Heim Center, Room 130, at the Free Library of Philadelphia, Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, 19103. The workshops will be held from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM Eastern.
You can attend the workshops in-person or online. Separate registration is required for each workshop, which will be held on the following dates:
- May 6: Civil Court - REGISTRATION
- July 1: Criminal Court - REGISTRATION
- August 15: Family Court - REGISTRATION
Attend the workshops to learn how PA courts work, and what rights you have when you step into any courtroom. This series will cover the basics of civil, criminal, and family courts, helping you understand what to expect and how to advocate for yourself and others with confidence
