Free Expungement Clinic and Housing Workshop in Philadelphia - October 18

Brewerytown-Sharswood NAC/CDC is hosting a FREE expungment clinic on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm. Volunteers from Community Legal Services of Philadelphia will be available to help you understand your criminal record and those who qualify are able to receive FREE legal help.

Please note that only Philadelphia County Cases can be handled. Expungement may be possible for non-conviction charges (i.e., nolle prossed, not guilty, dismissed or withdrawn), summary convictions and special programs like ARD or Section 17 (records/charges are NOT automatically erased). Expungement is generally not possible for felony or misdemeanor charges that resulted in a conviction (i.e., guilty, guilty plea or nolo contender plea).

Community Legal Services will also present a workshop on housing rights and criminal records.This program is part of a series of tenant housing rights workshops called Housing Futures in collaboration with Community Futures Lab.
