Dual Eligibility & Medicare Savings Programs Webinar offered by PA Health Law Project
The Pennsylvania Health Law Project is offering an informational webinar entitled Dual Eligibility & Medicare Savings Programs on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM Eastern.
This webinar is part of a series on the unwinding of the Medicaid continous coverage rules. It will share information about eligibility for Medicaid benefits, including the Medicare Savings Programs, for people who have Medicare now or are getting it soon.
The program will cover the new Medicare Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to enroll in Medicare Parts A & B after loss of Medicaid and SEPs for Medicare health and drug coverage tied to losing Medicaid.
During the webinar, attendees will learn about getting Extra Help with Medicare Prescription Drug costs, with a focus on how losing Medicaid impacts continued eligibility for Extra Help. Other options for people on Medicare who lose Medicaid will be reviewed as well as resources that are available to find help.
Presenters of the webinar are Erin Guay, Acting Co-Executive Director, PHLP and Katy McKee, Supervising Attorney, PHLP.
