Delaware County Expungement Clinic - January 21, 2019

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) advocates and pro bono volunteers will provide free legal services at a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service EXPUNGEMENT CLINIC. on MONDAY, JAN. 21, 2019 from noon to 2 p.m. at Academy Park High School, 300 Calcon Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA 19079. The offices of State Sen. Anthony Williams and State Rep. Joanna McClinton are sponsoring this free event
Training for pro bono volunteers will occur beforehand. For volunteer training details and/or to sign up for pro bono volunteering, please contact Tom Kerstan, Esq., LASP Delaware County Pro Bono Coordinator, at 610-874-8421 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You are eligible for an expungement if you meet these qualifications:
- Only Delaware County arrests are eliigible.
- Only non-conviction chargers, including ARD, or summary convictions in the past 5 years, can be expunged. (Non summary convictions cannot be expunged.)
- Must have no current criminal charged/
- Must not be serving probation time.
If an you become a LASP client after applying for services at the clinic, we will seek to have filing fees waived, but you may need to pay for a $20 background check, depending on the type of record to be expunged.
If you are filing pro se after attending the clinic, you can seek a fee waiver or pay the filing fee, depending on your financial circumstances.
