An annual borrowers' fee will be charged to each user for checking out library materials for home or office use. See the library web site for details on the fee structure.
The Allegheny County Law Library is managed by the Duquesne University Center for Legal Information through a unique joint-library partnership. Based on an agreement between Duquesne University and Allegheny County, the two libraries offer legal research collections and services that meet the needs of the legal community as well as the public of Allegheny County and western Pennsylvania.
The library's book and microform collection consists of more than 150,000 volumes dating from 1488 to the present.
This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law (Title 44 United States Code). If you have questions concerning use of government documents, please ask a librarian or staff member.
