Services provided  Founded in 1970 and renovated and renamed in 1999, the Alex Bonavitacola Law Library is home to a print collection that is geared to facilitate the research of the judges, law clerks and interns of the First Judicial District, as well as other court personnel.

The collection includes, but is not limited to, current federal and Pennsylvania statutes and regulations, the Philadelphia code and published department regulations, Pennsylvania treatises and practice materials on a wide range of legal topics and issues and CLE materials from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. The main library is civil law oriented. There are five PC work stations with Internet access for court personnel only.

It features an online card catalog available through its web site.


The Stout Center for Criminal Justice Law Library (Satellite Location)

The Stout Center for Criminal Justice Law Library was established in 1995. It is a contemporary facility and the book collection is geared toward criminal law, procedure and evidence.
