Who We Are
Neighborhood Legal Services provides free civil legal services to low income individuals and families who are unable to afford a private attorney. Depending on the particular civil legal problems, they may provide direct representation, advice, assistance in self-representation, brief service/limited legal assistance or referral to a private attorney (including free and reduced-fee). They also provide community education on legal topics.

Income Guidelines | Asset limits vary according to family size. Victims of domestic violence will be represented free of charge regardless of income. Elderly Law and Protection from Abuse Programs have no income and asset limits. Clients are responsible for court fees if not waived by In Forma Pauperis Petitions. |
