People with disabilities, their family members, and advocates can contact the intake system to seek advice about disability rights, access to services, or abuse and neglect by calling the toll free number at 1-800-692-7443 (voice) and 877-375-7139 (TDD).

Who We Are

Disability Rights Pennsylvania (DRP) is an independent, statewide, non-profit corporation designated as the federally-mandated protection and advocacy agency in Pennsylvania. They help people:

  • with disability-related problems in employment, education, housing, access to facilities and programs, and access to the opportunity to vote
  • Who are subjected to abuse or neglect
  • Eliminate institutionalization and segregation and advocates for integrated community services, supports and treatment
  • Eliminate discrimination on the basis of disability
  • Advocate for government service systems and funding for people with disabilities

Complete the online intake form and click Submit when you are finished. A DRP staff member will contact you as quickly as possible. DRP requests information relating to your problem or question and your eligibility for services as well as general demographic information that DRP is required to collect for statistical reporting purposes. DRP does not charge for services.
