Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund (PAHAF)

The Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund, or PAHAF, is a housing-related program funded by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to assist Pennsylvania homeowners facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic that began after January 21, 2020, (including a hardship that began before January 21, 2020, and continued after that date). The program will provide financial assistance to homeowners for qualified mortgage and housing-related expenses to address delinquency and avoid default, foreclosure, or displacement.

Pennsylvania is Now Accepting Applications for the Homeowner Assistance Fund

You could be eligible for help with delinquent mortgage payments or rent-to-own payments, up to $30,000, and for help for utility expenses.

Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund Applicants (PA HAF) Must Re-Register in System

All PAHAF applicants must re-register in PHFA’s Neighborly system to review and, if needed, update their application information. It’s important to understand that you do not need to reapply to the program, but applications cannot be processed until this re-registration step is taken.
