ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA provides free civil legal services to low-income person and victims of domestic abuse. The types of cases LASP handles include: public and private housing, consumer issues, bankruptcy, protection from abuse, custody, welfare, social security, unemployment compensation and elder law.

Provides civil legal services to indigent residents of Montgomery County.

  Outreach Intake in Lansdale for clients in the eastern section of Montgomery County. Wednesdays from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm and Outreach Intake in Willow Grove for clients in the eastern section of Montgomery County. Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Income Guidelines: 
  Your family's income should be at or below 125.0% of the poverty level.

Income levels are waived to all Protection From Abuse clients. Elderly clients may be eligible for special representation in certain cases.
 
Other eligibility requirements:
  This program does not serve prisoners
 
Clients are responsible for filing fees and court costs to the extent not waivable.

  Full Legal Representation
  Brief Advice- Telephone or Brief Service is available for all 4 counties served by our program through our Centralized Telephone Intake and Advice toll-free line.
